This is the story of a man, until now very few people have ever heard of his name,” Xavier Miranda”. We will refer to him as the “Maestro”. The artisan of one of the finest Tequila’s ever created. We begin the story of the Maestro at the age of 17 when he started working for the legendary Don Julio. Working with Don Julio (we’ll refer to him as the Legend) he learned all the traditional methods of creating a Premium Tequila. These Methodologies derived by the legend revolutionized the tequila industry. By planting blue agave further apart each plant would not starve for nutrients. Holding to these. standards would allow longer more fervent growth cycles of 6-9 years for maximum yield. When harvested the plant is ripe with a high sugar content which is then cooked in old stone ovens without need of additives, auto fusers or autoclaves. Just pure 100% Natural Agave. The Maestro successfully went on to contribute to the iconic 1942 expression in 1972. Not soon after the Legend Don Julio sold his company to Jose Cuervo and Adagio a Chinese distribution giant. The Maestro decided to use what he had learned to amend and continue the legacy of Don Julio. The tradition of the past is now reflected in this new line of silvers.
